Here are 3 easy ways to practice self-love!

1. Surround yourself with loving people

Spend time with people in your life that make you smile, laugh and feel good about yourself! Having a positive person in your life brings the love, comfort and support you need on the worst of days. If you ever need a shoulder to cry on, you’ll know who to lean on. Being around good people will naturally make you feel good about yourself!

2. Take care of yourself

It has been proven that exercise and self-esteem go hand in hand! Feel a bit down? Go for a run, do a little dance… get up and be active! You’ll feel so much better afterwards... pinky promise! And don’t forget that getting enough rest and eating a healthy balanced diet is just as important. Helpful Hint: When you need a pick me up, eat lots of orange and yellow fruits and veggies - lemons, oranges, bananas, peppers, mango, pineapple, banana - proven to make you feel good!

3. Focus on the positives

It’s all about taking control of your thoughts and focusing only on the positives! Practice turning every negative into a positive. No matter what the situation ask yourself, “What am I thankful for here?...What did I learn?” If it helps, write down what you’re grateful for in a journal or say it to yourself confidently in the mirror. Breathe in the goodness, breathe out the badness. Life is good!
